One small detail spotted in GTA 6 has caught the attention of fans: larger vans that look similar to vehicles such as the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter appear to be making their way into the game.
It might not sound like a huge addition, but bigger vans could actually give Rockstar a lot more possibilities for both the single-player world and the future of GTA Online.
GTA 5 Was Missing Proper Large Vans
GTA 5 has plenty of vans, but most of them are relatively limited when it comes to passenger capacity and their potential uses.
The introduction of larger commercial-style vans in GTA 6 could make the traffic around Vice City feel much more believable. Real cities are filled with delivery vans, passenger vans and larger commercial vehicles, so having more variety should make the streets feel considerably more alive.
But there could be another reason why fans are interested.
These Vans Could Be Perfect for GTA Online
If Rockstar allows larger vans to carry more players, they could become extremely useful for future multiplayer activities.
Imagine an entire crew arriving at a heist location in one vehicle instead of everyone having to bring their own car. A large van could potentially transport a bigger group, equipment or even mission-specific items.
It could also make getaway sequences more interesting. Instead of four players jumping into separate cars, a larger group could pile into one vehicle and attempt to escape together.
Of course, Rockstar hasn't confirmed that these vans will actually work this way in GTA Online. But the possibilities are definitely there.
A Small Detail With a Lot of Potential
This is exactly the kind of small addition that can make GTA 6's world feel more convincing.
Rockstar appears to be putting a lot of effort into making Vice City feel like a functioning modern city, and having a wider range of vehicle sizes and types is an important part of that.
And if Rockstar eventually builds the next version of GTA Online around the systems introduced in GTA 6, these larger vans could become much more than just background traffic.
For now, it's still speculation. But after seeing bigger vans appear in GTA 6, it is hard not to think about how useful they could be once players start creating their own crews, businesses and heists.
What do you think? Would you actually use a large van in GTA Online if Rockstar allowed bigger groups of players to ride together?
